CAD dwg drawing detail for a Timber Truss Steel Gusset Plate Member Connection. Detail shows how roof timber rafters are to be connected on the roof ridge supported from a timber column or truss vertical strut member with a steel gusset plate.

Connection is done with two steel gusset plates on both sides of the roof ridge members ( or truss top chords ). The gusset plate’s shape is designed so to cover all three connected members together. Full penetration through threaded bolts connect the members together.
