Design description

The front half of the hangar is an 18.0m single span portal frame where as the second half is a 36.0m double span portal frame with a mezzanine steel floor. Elevated crane supported from the portal frame columns runs the whole span of the building.

The entire building has 1,400square meters ( 15,000sq.feet ) of workshop area.

Single and double span roof with 40mm thick insulated sandwich panel system with rain water and valley gutters. Portal frames bracing is also essential due to the heavy horizontal crane loads ( during stop and go ) as well as other horizontal loadings ( i.e. earthquake, wind loads etc ).

Foundation system is made of single pad footings with concrete pier column and connecting ground beams to account for differential settlement. All details included.

Foundation: Comprehensive foundation detailing. Footing, column stub, baseplate, anchor bolts, baseplate stiffeners, welding specs together with footing substrate layers.

All required connection details: Fully detailed connections, steel member connections, steel decking slab detail, staircase detail, roof members connections.

Structural Plan Views: Includes all necessary structural plan view drawings, Columns Layout Plan View, Foundation Plan View, Mezzanine Plan View, Roof & Roof cover Plan View.

Structure Cross Sections: Both single span and double span cross sections. Portal frame cross sections. Roof, Mezzanine Slab Steel Members Cross Sectional Views.
