This is a CAD dwg detailed drawing for a Steel Column Connection on Top of Reinforced Concrete Column. Useful detail to have when designing for composite structures, especially in the case where bottom floor columns need to be changed to steel columns for top floors.

Detail includes anchor bolts and baseplate detailing with column web stiffeners. Important detail to note is that all baseplate anchor bolts need to be located inside the reinforced concrete column ties. Careful designing requires knowing the exact sizing of the RC column and ties, in order to detail the baseplate correctly.
