Use this is a CAD dwg drawing detail of a Reinforced Concrete Flat Slab Direct Steel Column Concealed Support with hybrid structures designs.

Connection is made concealed for aesthetic reasons inside the slab thickness. Flat slab directly supported onto steel column with the use of a baseplate and anchor bolts. Slab does not have a reinforced beam or concealed beam at the point of support, therefore proper design for punching shear has to be accounted for.

Usually used for small loading conditions. In the case where larger punching shear loads are in place, one can always introduce a concealed beam inside the slab and follow the same type of detailing for the steel column support.
