FULL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a CAD detail drawing for a Reinforced Concrete Encased Steel Column Detail. Composite column with an HEB240 steel profile section encased in reinforced concrete to make a square sized concrete column.

Detail includes cross section and elevation views with column reinforcement bars, stirrups, minimum cover dimensions. Useful detail when designing composite framed structures with steel columns/beams and reinforced concrete slabs and other members. Mainly used to reduce column sizes when required by the architectural design.

Reinforced Concrete and/or steel beams can be connected to this column to make up the structure frame. Supported slabs can be either regular reinforced concrete slabs or steel decking slabs or even composite slabs.
