For high soil retaining designs, when every else fails, this type of High Retaining Wall with Bracing Columns Detail Drawing, can be a life saver. Get this CAD dwg drawing ready designed detail to use when all other types of retaining walls simply cannot do or designs come out to be too expensive or to difficult.

This design has an overall soil retaining height of 5.50m with reinforced concrete columns bracing at 4.0m intervals. The wall here is supported horizontally ( and not as a vertical cantilever wall ) and is supported from the columns on the left and right. Main reinforcement is considered to be the horizontal reinforcement. The wall is actually designed as a 2-way slab ( two way slab ).

All necesary designs loadings have been incorporated including earthquake loads.
